Students work on watercolor paper and draw the Washington State animal they have chosen for their report. Once they have their drawing completed the students go over their pencil with "black glue"(It is a mixture of black acrylic paint and elmers glue.)
When the glue hardens it is raised and gives the artwork an interesting look. The final step is to paint them with watercolors. The students work on composition, space, line and color. See more Washington Animals
